Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 10g baking powder

Wet Ingredients:

  • 200g apple sauce (compote)
  • 80g orange juice (about 1 small orange and a half)
  • 50g olive oil
  • Zest from 2 oranges (10g)

method

  1. Preheat oven at 180°C
  2. Combine wet ingredients in a bowl and dry ingredients in another bowl
  3. Pour wet ingredients in dry ingredients and combine with a whisk until smooth
  4. Pour batter in greased mold and bake for 50min at 180°C, or until golden/brown on top
  5. Let the cake sit for at least 30min before eating
