These 4-ingredient banana cookies are the perfect way to use up your ripe bananas. Oats mashup with ripe bananas and nut butter to make a soft-textured cookie that is teaming with dark chocolate. It's a subtly sweet cookie that will hit the spot.

Chef Tosca Tip

The riper your bananas, the more flavor your cookies will have. Wait until your bananas are very brown to make these cookies.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 100 g rolled oats (gluten-free)
  • 2 generous tablespoons of nut butter (peanut, almond, or your favorite)
  • 50 g dark chocolate, chopped or in chips

method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the oats and nut butter until well combined.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate.
  5. Scoop small mounds of dough onto a lined baking tray and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
