This is a creamy, crave-worthy plant-based twist on classic nacho cheese. This sauce is rich, velvety, and packed with delicious flavour, perfect for drizzling over nachos, layering into burritos, or using as a dip for just about anything. Top with all your favourite fixings for the ultimate comfort snack (or meal...no judgment here).

Chef Tosca Tip

For the smoothest texture, blend your sauce on high until completely creamy, and don't skip the warm-up! Heating the sauce helps activate the starches, giving you that luscious "cheesy" vibe.

Ingredients

  • 150g steamed potato
  • 100g steamed carrots
  • 200g water
  • 10g lemon juice
  • 15g olive oil
  • 20g nutritional yeast
  • 1g paprika
  • Salt to taste

method

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth
  2. Enjoy at room temperature or warm it up quickly in a saucepan for that melted cheezy feel
