Quick Miso & Maple Sauce
Here’s a super easy sweet and savoury recipe that will bring your vegetables, noodles and tofu to the next level (photos below). Maple syrup is super versatile and can be used to sweeten virtually anything. I use it in my tomato sauces, porridge, pancakes, cake, sauce recipes and ice coffee / tea. It works perfectly with either sweet or savoury recipes and adds a subtle touch of caramel to any preparation.

Ingredients
40g miso paste
60g vegetable oil
2g sesame oil
20g maple syrup
5g fresh ginger
25g soy sauce
20g water
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Method
Blend all ingredients until smooth
Add to your favourite noodles, vegetables or tofu
Notes
Enjoy warm or cold
you may want to correct the sesame oil quantity in your miso & maple syrup sauce from 2 to 20g
